The matter was mentioned before me by the learned counsel for the petitioner on 24.04.2026 and this Court has ordered the matter to be listed under the caption "for being mentioned" today i.e., 27.04.2026. Accordingly, the matter is listed today.
2. Heard, Mr.M.Vetrivel, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.C.Baskaran, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side).
3. It is stated that this Court, while recording the date for directing the appearance of the petitioner before the learned Magistrate as 10.03.2025 instead of 10.03.2026.
4. Registry is directed to correct the year in paragraph 6 of the order dated 17.02.2026 to read as 10.03.2026 instead of 10.03.2025.
5. Further, it is also stated that, after passing of the order dated 17.02.2026, the petitioner herein was remanded based on the cancellation of bail order passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Ponneri, dated 21.11.2025.
6. I am of the view that since this Court has already set aside the order 2/4
passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Ponneri, dated 21.11.2025 cancelling the bail, the petitioner shall be set at liberty by executing a bond for a sum of Rs.15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand Only) with two sureties each for a likesum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned. Further, the Trial Court/Mahila Court, Tiruvallur is hereby directed to serve fresh notice for cancellation of bail in S.C.No.105 of 2026 and pass orders after hearing the parties on merits.
7. Registry is directed to issue a fresh amended copy of the order after carrying out the necessary correction. It is also made clear that in all other aspects the order dated 17.02.2026 shall remains unaltered. 27.04.2026 ssi Note: Issue order copy today.
