ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 09.02.2022 for the alleged offences under Sections 406, 420, 465, 468 r/w 34 of IPC, in Crime No.246 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police seeks bail.
2. On perusal of FIR, the allegation against the petitioner in this case is that he has collected money from the defacto complainant under the pretext of securing Government Job in Education Department.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that nearly 75 complaints have been received against these petitioners and the Government Job seekers had parted away several Lakhs of Rupees to these petitioners believing fake promise.

4. This Court is of the view that the defacto complainant who has arranged and paid the money is also liable to be prosecuted for getting Government Job by paying money and further the Prevention of Corruption Act amended in the year 2018, does not come in protection to bribe giver as it was in the previous version of Prevention of Corruption Act.
5.Therefore the respondent police should be aware of the law and take necessary action against the defacto complainant who admits that he has paid money to secure public office/Government Jobs.
6. In view of the above submissions, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
