Respondents Writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India filed praying for issuance of a Writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the entire records relating to petitioner's father detention under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 vide detention order dated 18.06.2018 on the file of second respondent herein made in proceedings No.395/BCDFGISSSV/2018 and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondents herein to produce the said petitioner's father namely Dhanasekaran S/o.Venkatesan, aged 60 years, before this Court and set the petitioner's father at liberty from detention, now petitioner's father detained at Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai - 600066.

O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by C.T.SELVAM, J) Petitioner is the daughter of detenu, Dhanasekaran S/o.Venkatesan, who has been branded as a 'Drug Offender' under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 and detained under orders of second respondent passed in No.395/BCDFGISSSV/2018 dated 18.06.2018. Such order is under challenge herein.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor, would submit that the detention order passed against the father of petitioner in No.395/BCDFGISSSV/2018 dated 18.06.2018 on the file of the second respondent is revoked vide G.O.Rt.No.3186, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIII) Department, dated 30.07.2018 and produced a copy of the said order.

In view of the above, this petition is closed as it has become infructuous.
