ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to conduct an enquiry and issue patta in favour of the petitioner with respect to Plot No.48 over an extent of 0.01.0 Hectares comprised in Survey No.1 of Vedhanarayanapuram Village, Chengalpattu Taluk and District.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the assignment was granted in favour of the petitioner. Further, there was a re-assignment made in favour of the third respondent's father. The petitioner came to know about the said facts and immediately approached the respondents for conducting enquiry and issuance of fresh patta in favour of the petitioner, which is pending without consideration. Hence, this petition.

Per contra, the learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that a proper enquiry was conducted and the assignment granted to the petitioner in the year 2009 had been cancelled for non-compliance of the condition appended to the assignment in proceedings of Tahsildar, Chengalpattu/second respondent in Rc.No.3286/2023/B1 dated 26.03.2024 and final order has been passed.

4. Such view of the matter, mere direction will not serve any purpose and 2/4

it is for the petitioner to take a legal course to challenge the order passed in this regard, if he is really aggrieved.
