The present petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed on the petitioner in Paragraph No.3 of the order dated 25.01.2023 passed by this Court in Crl.MP.No.827 of 2023 in Crl.O.P.No.93 of 2023 of 2023 while granting bail.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that one of the conditions imposed on the petitioner is that "the petitioner should report before the Inspector of Police, T-8, Guduvancherry Police Station, Chengalpattu, daily at 10.30 a.m., until further orders. He would further submit that the petitioner/accused was attempted to comply with the conditions before the respondent police, he was followed by some unknown person and also gave life threat to him. Hence, he would seek to modify the aforesaid condition and he is ready and willing to comply with the aforesaid conditions before the learned X Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai .

3. Heard the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police.

Taking into consideration, the facts and the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this petition is allowed by modifying the condition to the effect that " the petitioner shall report before the learned X Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai daily at 10.30 a.m., until further orders" . All other conditions remain intact.

5. With the above modifications, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is allowed.
