O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the the respondents to effect electricity service connection in S.No.74/2 Po.Moorappur Village, Manaloorpettai, Villupuram District in the name of the petitioner based on the representation dated 10.10.2023.

2. Heard the learned counsels on either side.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner inherited the property from his father by way of a registered settlement deed dated 18.05.2020 under Document No.717 of 2020 on the file of the Sub Registrar, Mannalurpettai and patta was also mutated in his name. He added that the petitioner approached the respondent for transfer of service connection in his name and the same stands in his name now. He further submitted that the respondent called upon the petitioner to produce revenue records for effecting service connection and he also submitted the same to the fourth respondent, however, there was no response. Thus, the learned counsel prayed this Court to grant the relief as stated above in the Writ Petition.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondent concerned to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.10.2023 and shall pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no orders as to costs.
