Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 5 to conduct the temple festival of Sree Vinayagar, Sree Baghavathy Amman Temple, Mallampalayam Village in Dharapuram Taluk of Tiruppur District without giving preferences to any private individual or group in conducting th festival and ceremonies by considering Petitioner's representation dated 19.02.2021.

Mr.R.Venkatesh, has received written instructions to the effect that pursuant to order of this Court dated 08.03.2021 stating that the petitioner's representation dated 19.02.2021 may be considered by the authorities, all necessary parties including the petitioner were heard by the Thakkar on 26.02.2021. However, the warring factions could not arrive at an amicable settlement and the Thakkar is stated to have opined that the matter must be referred to a peace committee for decision.
2. In light of the aforesaid, let a peace committee meeting be convened during the week commencing (10.05.2021 to 14.05.2021) and a decision be arrived at by the Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO) on the request of the petitioner for conduct of temple festival in the Sree Vinayagar, Sree Baghavathy Amman Temple, Mallampalayam Village in Dharapuram Taluk of Tiruppur District.
3. The petitioner brings to the note of this Court certain complaints that he has in regard to the functioning of the authorities in charge of the temple. Let all submissions be made before the RDO who will take of them and pass appropriate orders.
4. With this direction, nothing further survives in this writ petition and the same is closed. No costs.
