..Respondent(s) Writ Petition (Criminal) is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records of the impugned order dated 07.02.2026 in Na.Ka.No.P2/IOP/Ga.PS/2026 passed by the 4th respondent and quash the same and consequently, to direct the respondents to grant permission to the petitioner to conduct the demonstration near Gangavalli Anna Statue on 11.03.2026 based on the petitioners representation dated 06.02.2026.

ORDER

When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that aggrieved by the act of the respondent police in not arresting the accused in the case in Crime No.42 of 2026, the petitioner sought permission to stage a demonstration by his representation dated 06.02.2026. The respondent police have, as on date, arrested all the accused and remanded them to judicial custody and hence, the permission sought by the petitioner to stage a demonstration may not be required.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner now submitted that he is not pressing this petition and sought permission of this Court to withdraw this petition and also made an endorsement to that effect. 3.

In view of the aforesaid submission and endorsement made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Writ Petition (Criminal) is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs.
