This Writ Miscellaneous Petition has been filed to delete the petitioner / 2nd respondent, namely, the Director of Local Fund Audit Department, Nandanam, Chennai - 600 035 from the cause title of the above writ petition in W.P.No.29891 of 2024.

2.In the affidavit filed in support of this Writ Miscellaneous Petition, it had been stated that the petitioner herein / 2nd respondent is entrusted to perform auditing of Local Body only, namely, Page No.2 of 4

Municipalities, Town Panchayats and Panchayat Unions whereas the writ petitioner / 1st respondent was working in Public Works Department and therefore, the petitioner herein is not a necessary party to the writ petition.

3.In view of the facts stated above, this Writ Miscellaneous Petition stands allowed.

4.Registry is directed to carry out necessary amendment by deleting the petitioner herein / second respondent from the cause title of the writ petition and re-arrange the respondents 3 and 4 as respondents 2 and 3.

5.Post the writ petition for filing counter after two weeks. In the meantime, the writ petitioner / 1st respondent may also file necessary application to implead the Principal Accountant General as a party to the writ petition.
