Respondents Writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India filed praying for issuance of a Writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the records relating to petitioner's son detention under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 vide detention order dated 25.06.2018 on the file of second respondent herein made in proceedings No.435/BCDFGISSSV/2018 and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondents herein to produce the said petitioner's son namely Dilipkumar S/o.Sankar, aged 28 years, before this Court and set the petitioner's son at liberty from detention, now petitioner's son detained at Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai - 600066.

O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by C.T.SELVAM, J) Petitioner is the mother of the detenu, Dillipkumar S/o.Sankar, who has been branded as a 'Goonda' under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 and detained under orders of second respondent passed in No.435/BCDFGISSSV/2018 dated 25.06.2018. Such order is under challenge herein.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor, would submit that the detention order passed against the son of petitioner in No.435/BCDFGISSSV/2018 dated 25.06.2018 on the file of the second respondent is revoked vide G.O.Rt.No.3348, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIII) Department, dated 10.08.2018 and produced a copy of the said order.

In view of the above, this petition is closed as it has become infructuous.
