O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to provide a new agricultural service connection in the petitioner's Application No.145/97/18 pending before the second respondent pertaining to the petitioner's agricultural land in S.No.494/4, situated at Samanthangkottai, Pudupalayam Village, Vanchipalayam, Tiruppur District, within a time prescribed by this Court.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the owner of the agricultural land in Survey No.494/4 and he made an application in the year 2018 for the purpose of agricultural service connection, however, the same was not considered. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submits that during the pendency of this writ petition, the petitioner's application was canceled for non-compliance of readiness Certificate. If the petitioner makes a fresh application, it will be considered in accordance with the existing regulations.

4. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents.

5. In view of the submission made by the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, permits the petitioner to file a fresh application before the respondents and if such application is filed by the petitioner, the respondents are directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible.

6. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
