This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to direct to the learned 7th Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, Chennai to expedite the trial in C.C.No.2432 of 2017 and complete the same within a stipulated time.

2. Heard the submissions of learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

3. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the learned 7th Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, Chennai to expedite the trial in C.C.No.2432 of 2017 and complete the same, within a period of nine months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and report before this Court after completion of the Trial.

4. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
