O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by C.T.SELVAM, J.) This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to produce the body of the detenue/petitioner's daughter namely S.Vaishnavidevi, aged about 19 years before this Court and set her at liberty.

2. The respondent have produced the daughter of the petitioner. On interaction with her, we find that she appears to be of stable mind and clearly informs that she has entered upon marriage with Vetriselvan and does not wish to interact with her parents stating that despite her informing her parents of the relation with her present husband, her parents were https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

unwilling to accept such position and put her to trouble. The parents of the girl informed that they are unaware of her affair with her present husband.

3. On perusal of the affidavit of the petitioner, we find that the petitioner informed of the detenue, his daughter not concentrating in studies from 2017 and of having undergoing psychiatric treatment since then. Records not filed along with original petition, but now produced by the petitioner inform that the detenue girl has been under treatment from the year 2015. A prescription dated 26.01.2018 has been produced and the petitioner informs that the detenue girl has gone missing from his mother-in-laws house on 28.1.2018.

4. The detenue does not wish to interact with her parents and informs intent to go along with her husband. It is not for this Court to intervene.
