Crime No.167 of 2023 Respondent PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the Judicial Magistrate, Katpadi to accept their surrender and permit them to execute a bond u/s.88 Cr.P.C., in unnumbered Charge Sheet in Crime No.167 of 2023 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Katpadi to secure the ends of justice.

ORDER
This criminal original petition has been filed for a direction to the Court below to permit the petitioners to execute the bond under Section 88 of Cr.P.C., 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondent. 3.It is brought to the notice of this Court that the investigation was completed in Crime No.167 of 2023 and an absconding charge sheet has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Katpadi. Hence, it is left open to the petitioners to file a proper bail petition before the Court below after surrendering and the Court below shall act upon the same and make the petitioners execute the bond under Section 88 of Cr.P.C., by imposing necessary conditions. 4.This criminal original petition is disposed of with the above direction. 28.02.2024 Index : Yes/No Internet : Yes/No Speaking Order/Non-Speaking Order ssr To 1.The Judicial Magistrate, Katpadi.
