ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the Judicial Magistrate No.1, Kanchipuram for speedy disposal of the case in C.C.No.448 of 2013. 2.It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner is A1 in C.C.No.448 of 2013 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.1, Kanchipuram and the same is pending from the year 2013. Even though some of the witnesses were examined, the matter has been unnecessarily prolonged for the past 4 years. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present petition to dispose of the said case at an early date.

3.Heard Mr.A.Saranraj, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.C.Emalias, Additional Public Prosecutor, appearing for the respondent and perused the entire materials available on record.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and taking into consideration of the fact that the case is pending from the year 2013 and some of the witnesses were also examined by the Court below, this Court directs the learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Kanchipuram to expedite the trial in C.C.No.448 of 2013 and dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible, on merits, in accordance with law, within a period of 3 months, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The criminal original petition is ordered accordingly.
