This criminal original petition has been filed to direct Respondents 1 o 3 herein to give necessary police protection to the life, liberties and properties situated at S.Nos.508/2, 509/2 and 512/4, Mallankuli Village, Thalavadi Taluk, Erode District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 13.12.2023. 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that the enquiry was conducted based on the complaint in C.S.R.No.157 of 2023 and that the same was closed on 15.12.2023. He further submitted that the nature of the dispute involved in this case is a civil dispute. 3.In the light of the above, no further orders can be passed in this criminal original petition and it is left open for the parties to agitate their rights before the competent civil court.
