ORDER

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 10.03.2017 and dispose of the same.

2. The petitioner is the parent of the Master Mithra, who was admitted in the Kids Park Vidyashram situate at Door No.586, T.H.Road, Old Washermenpet, Chennai 600 021. The child has been attending L.K.G class. While so, it is stated that the said School does not possess recognition and affiliation for CBSE syllabus. It is further stated that in the website portal of CBSE that the list of Schools mentioned therein, were affiliated to them, in which, the present Kids Park Vidyashram School is not found. It is the complaint of the petitioner that the said School authorities were making the parents to believe that the said School is the CBSE recognised School and admitting the children.

Therefore, the petitioner has made a representation on 10.03.2017 to the respondents to conduct a detailed enquiry regarding recognition and affiliation given to the Kids Park Vidyashram running at Door No.586, T.H.Road, Old Washermenpet, Chennai 600 021. The said representation has been kept pending and no action has been taken till today. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 3 and 5.

4. Taking into consideration the above facts and also taking note of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the said representation of the petitioner, dated 10.03.2017 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. 5.

With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
