Mr.G.Krishnaraja Government Advocate C O M M O N O R D E R The prayer made in these writ petitions is to issue a mandamus, forbearing the respondents from interfering with the petitioners' business of distribution of water through water tanker lorries within the limits of Udhagamandalam Taluk, 2.Today, when these writ petitions were taken up for consideration, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that due to efflux of time, the relief sought for herein has become infructuous. However, he sought liberty to the petitioners to approach the authority concerned afresh, if the same cause of action continues. 3.In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, the petitioners are granted liberty to approach the authority concerned, with fresh representations, if required. On such representations being made, the authority concerned shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible.
4.These writ petitions stand disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
