ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent not to harass the petitioner.

2. According to the petitioner, he is a landlord and he has leased out his house to A.2. A.2 stayed there only for two months and thereafter, he vacated the house, now whereabouts of A.2 was not known to the petitioner. In such circumstances, the respondent police harassed the petitioner and his family members under the guise of enquiry. Hence, the petition.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that based on the complaint given by one R.Chandran, a case has been registered in Cr.No.1 of 2017 under Section 3(2) a, 4(1), 5(1)a of ITP Act against two persons. A.2 has stayed in the petitioner's house and hence, the petitioner was called for an enquiry and the respondent police are not harass him. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.In the above circumstances, the petitioner is directed to co-operate with respondent police during investigation and the respondent police is further directed not to harass the petitioner.

5. With the above direction, the present criminal original petition is disposed of.
