Health Insurance Scheme, 2014.

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner association, complaining the non-consideration of the representation dated 04.11.2015, said to have been submitted by the petitioner before the 1st respondent. 2.

From the perusal of the record, it is noticed that the petitioner herein made a claim to enable its members to avail the benefits under the Tamil Nadu New Health Insurance scheme, 2014 without any restrictions. 3.

Though the 1st respondent filed counter affidavit stating that the relief that is being claimed by the petitioner would result in heavy financial burden on the State, there is nothing stated in the counter affidavit to suggest that the 1st respondent has considered the representation dated 04.11.2015 submitted by the petitioner.

It is not in dispute that the petitioner has submitted the

representation dated 04.11.2015.

In the circumstances, this Court does not see any impediment for disposing of the writ petition duly directing the 1st respondent to consider the said representation dated 04.11.2015 and pass appropriate orders thereon in accordance with law.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the 1st respondent to consider the representation dated 04.11.2015 submitted by the petitioner, and to pass appropriate orders thereon in accordance with law within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is also granted liberty to submit fresh representation duly communicating this order to the 1st respondent within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
