Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to disburse the entire terminal benefits, pension, EPF amount and any other dues to the petitioner with interest for the delayed payment within the time frame.

ORDER

The petitioner worked as Office Assistant in the office of the first respondent Society and on attaining the age of superannuation retired from service on 31 March 2007. According to the petitioner he was permitted to retire from service. However, he was not paid the retirement benefits in spite of submitting series of representations.

2. The petitioner now seeks a direction to the first respondent to disburse the entire terminal benefits, Pension, EPF amount etc., as expeditiously as possible.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of respondents 1 and 2 and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the third respondent.

4. The first respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 5 July 2013 on merits and as per law. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
