Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a WRIT OF MANDAMUS directing the respondents to include the name of the petitioner in the panel for promotion to the post of Senior Drugs Inspector for the year 2009 and promote the petitioner as Senior Drugs Inspector and confer all the consequential benefits from the date on which her juniors were promoted, by considering the representation dated 25.01.2011 made by the petitioner. For Petitioner in both cases : Mr.V.Sivalingam For Respondents in both cases : Mr.M.Bindran Additional Government Pleader COMMON ORDER When these cases were taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner sought permission of this Court to withdraw these writ petitions by submitting that the same have become infructuous.
