Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent herein to issue patta to the petitioners for the property situated Plot No.122 measuring an extent of 187 Sq.mt. (2013 Sq.ft. ) CMDA in the approved layout vide No. P.P. D/L. O No.26/2010 and annexed hereto comprised as per patta No.3311 in Survey Nos.155/2B1 and 156/2A situated at No.118 Padianallur Village Ponneri Taluk Tiruvallur District.

O R D E R
The prayer sought for herein is for a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent herein to issue patta to the petitioners for the property situated Plot No.122 measuring an extent of 187 Sq.mt. (2013 Sq.ft. ) CMDA in the approved layout vide No. P.P. D/L. O No.26/2010 and annexed hereto comprised as per patta No.3311 in Survey Nos.155/2B1 and 156/2A situated at No.118 Padianallur Village Ponneri Taluk Tiruvallur District.
2. Though such a prayer is sought for by the petitioner, today when the matter is heard the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that, the request of the petitioner for issuance of patta, having been considered, was rejected by the 2nd respondent vide his order dated 23.02.2023 and he has produced a copy of the said order also.
3. On receipt of a copy of the said order now passed by the 2nd respondent rejecting the plea of the petitioner, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would work out his remedy by filing an appropriate petition against the said order now passed by the Tahsildar dated 23.02.2023.
4. In view of the aforesaid development, recording the same this Court is 2 / 4
inclined to dismiss this writ petition with a liberty to the petitioner to challenge the order dated 23.02.2023 in the manner known to law. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
