Respondents Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a writ of mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to issue patta within the time frame fixed by this Hon'ble Court, based on the recommendations made by the 1st respondent dated 24.07.2012 and 12.12.2013.

For Petitioner : Mr.S.Arokia Maniraj For Respondents : Mr.Durai Solamalai Additional Government Pleader.

By consent, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner is an Ex-Serviceman and claims that he belongs to Adi Dravidar Community, and he submitted an application dated 19.06.2012 for allotment of a land, which he has already identified and though, the 1st respondent vide proceedings dated 12.12.2013, has directed the 2nd respondent to take immediate action on the petitioner's representation, he has not been favoured with any response and hence, came forward to file this writ petition.

3. Heard the submissions of Mr.S.Arokia Maniraj, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Durai Solaimalai, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice for the respondents.

4. This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the application, directs the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 19.06.2012, by taking https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

into consideration the proceedings of the 1st respondent in O.Mu.No.B2/31535/2013 dated 12.12.2013 and after putting the concerned parties on notice, dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible and not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision to the petitioner as well as to the persons concerned.

5. The writ petition is disposed of, accordingly. No costs.
