The present miscellaneous petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 268 days in filing the criminal appeal against the judgment passed in Spl.S.C.No.64 of 2019 dated 27.02.2023 on the file of the Special Court for POCSO Act, Thiruvannamalai District.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. Though the name of the respondents was printed in the cause list, there is no representation for the respondents.

3. Having satisfied with the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit filed in support of this petition, this petition stands allowed.

4. Registry is directed to number the criminal appeal, if the papers are otherwise in order and post the main case for admission.
