Department, dated 25.4.2024 passed by the 1st respondent which arbitrarily rejected the premature release of the petitioner's husband Babu S/o.Sami, aged about 64 years, Convict No.6555, a life convict confined in Central Prison - I, Puzhal, Chennai from Life Imprisonment and quashing the same as illegal and consequently directing the respondents to prematurely release the petitioner's husband from Life Imprisonment as per Rule 341 of the Tamil Nadu Prison Manual Volume-II to secure the ends of justice.
