Respondents Prayer: Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of the contempt of Courts Act praying to punish the respondents for wilful disobedience of the Order of this Court dated 17.03.2015, passed in W.P.No.6969 of 2015. ORDER

After several hearings in this Contempt Petition, now only the respondents have shown certain improvements in the matter, and the learned Additional Government Pleader for respondents, on instructions, submitted that patta has been granted to 48 persons, and the remaining around 200 have to be issued, and it is in the process of being done, and separate facility has been created for such purpose.

2. Since the respondents have complied with the order, though not fully, and taking note of the fact that the elections have been announced, this Court is inclined to grant some more time to respondents to complete the process.

3. Accordingly, this Contempt Petition is disposed of, by directing the respondents to comply with the order passed by this Court in its letter and spirit, and issue patta to everyone on or before 30.06.2016. In the event, the respondents do not complete the entire process within the stipulated period, the learned counsel for the contempt petitioner is at liberty to mention before this Court, and get the Contempt Petition restored on the file of this Court.
