This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of mandamus directing the respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner and to fix his pay in accordance with G.O.Ms.No.303 dated 11.10.2017. 2.
The case of the petitioner is that he was working as General Manager (Business) in the respondent society on a consolidated pay. It is the further case of the petitioner that the respondent had promised that the petitioner will be brought within the time scale of pay after the completion of six months. However, the petitioner was never brought within the time scale of pay. Therefore, the petitioner made a representation on 08.01.2020 seeking for the fixation of the time scale of pay and for other consequential benefits. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

Heard, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the respondent.

Taking into consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief that has been sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 08.01.2020 and deal with the same on its own merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the respondent along with a copy of the representation dated 08.01.2020 and a copy of this order. 5.
This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
