ORDER
Mr.K.P.Kannappa Reddy, S/o Periasamy Reddy has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of a mandamus under Article 226 of the Constitution to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to consider his representation dated 01.11.2012 in the light of the letter dated 23.11.2012 and 31.05.2013 issued by the Inspector General of Registration, Chennai, the first respondent herein to the District Registrar, Kancheepuram District, the second respondent herein and consequently direct the respondents 1 to 3 not to release the rectification deed in document No.P72/2012 executed by the respondents 4 and 5 in favour of the sixth respondent.
2. When the matter was taken up, learned Government Advocate for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that the prayer in the writ petition has become infructuous, since the document bearing No.P72/2012 executed by the respondents 4 & 5 in favour of the sixth respondent, was withdrawn by her subsequently. He has also placed on record a letter dated 4.11.2019 received from the Sub Registrar, R.K.Pettai, Tiruvallur District in this regard.
3. A perusal of the said letter shows that on 15.2.2016 itself, the pending document in question was withdrawn by the sixth respondent. Since the pending document has been withdrawn, nothing survives in the matter. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed. Consequently, M.P.No.1 of 2013 is also dismissed. No costs.
