This Court passed an order directing the Chennai Corporation to consider the application submitted by the petitioner for name transfer after collecting arrears with effect from 19.10.2004. The respondent after collecting the arrears issued certificate in favour of the petitioner vide order dated 01.06.2015.
2. It is the grievance of the petitioner that the amount paid by him was adjusted towards arrears for the period prior to 19.10.2014.

3. The issue raised by the petitioner cannot be decided in the present Contempt Petition. It is open to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
4. This Contempt Petition is closed with the above observation.
