Prayer:- Civil Revision Petition filed under Article 227 of Constitution of India to expedite the proceedings in O.P.No.1698 of 2013 now pending on the file of the Learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Chennai, so as to be heard and disposed of within the time frame to be stipulated by this Court. ORDER
The Civil Revision Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The wife has filed a petition for divorce in the year 2013. The matter has been posted on several hearings and it is without any progress. In the meanwhile, the husband was set exparte and it was restored thrice. In spite of the matter was posted for cross examination of P.W.1, no progress is being made for the past four years. Now the petitioner seeks for earlier disposal of the petition filed for divorce.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, a direction is given to the learned Principle Judge, Family Court, Chennai to expediate the proceedings under O.P.No.1698/2013 and pass orders as expeditiously as possible within four months from the date of receipt of the copy of this order. 4.
Hence, The Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
