[ Respondents] Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to consider petitioner's representation dated 1.3.2017 for measure the boundaries and fix the measurement stone on the edges of boundaries of an extent of 15 cents of land in respect of Survey Nos201/3/3A 201/3/4 (Old Survey No.201/3) situated at No.74 Athangikavanoor Colony Uthukottai Taluk Tiruvallur District as per the year of 1983 assignement FMB Sketch which the patta was stand in the name of the petitioner's husband and her father-in-law. Mr.R.S.Selvam, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents.

2. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to consider her representation dated 1.3.2017 to fix the boundaries and for fixing the boundary stones in the lands measuring an extent of 15 cents in respect of Survey Nos.201/3/3A, 201/3/4 (Old Survey No.201/3) situated at No.74, Athangikavanoor https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Colony, Uthukottai Taluk, Tiruvallur District, as per the assignment of the year 1983 and FMB Sketch, for which, patta is standing in the name of the her husband and her father-in-law.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that inspite of the petitioner's representation dated 01.03.2017 to survey the lands and to fix boundaries, the respondents have not considered the same so far.

5. Mr.R.Selvam, learned Government Advocate, appearing for the respondents submitted that the 2nd respondent may be directed to pass orders on the petitioner's representation in accordance with law, within a time frame, on payment of necessary fee, if not paid.

Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.03.2017 for surveying the lands and fixing the boundary stones, on payment of necessary fee, if not paid and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
