The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of 1/4

Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to reactivate the mobile numbers 76958 11230, 76958 11233, 93 4341 4341 and 95 43554355 within the period fixed by this Hon'ble Court within the period fixed by this Court.

2.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner had mobile phone services through the service provider M/s.Reliance Telecom and later on ported to the services of the second respondent and due to the corona lockdown, they were not able to pay the bills for some of the mobile connections and after lockdown they made payment for the bills, however, the aforesaid numbers were not re-activated. In this regard, the petitioner made request through mail to the second respondent and since there was no response, approached the first respondent, however, there was no action. Hence, this writ petition. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that without going into the merits of the case, it would suffice, if this Court issue direction to the first respondent to pass appropriate orders on the e-mail correspondence dated 16.05.2022 and 26.05.2022, within a reasonable time frame.

4.The learned counsel appearing for the first respondent submitted that appropriate orders will be passed on the e-mail correspondence dated 16.05.2022 and 26.05.2022, within the time frame to be stipulated by this Court.

5.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned counsel appearing for the first respondent. Since this Court is not inclined to pass any adverse order as against the second respondent, notice to the second respondent is dispensed with. 6.Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to pass appropriate orders on the e-mail correspondence dated 16.05.2022 and 26.05.2022, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
