Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the entire records in pursuant to the order of Promotion Counseling conducted on 04.02.2011 vide Ref.No.78891/E1/1/10 dated 29.01.2011 issued by the 3rd respondent and quash the same in so for as not allotting 1/20th of the total number of vacancies for the Post of Associate Professor in the speciality for movement of a person from Director of Medical and Rural Services/Director of Public Health and Preventive Medicine side to Director of Medical Education in accordance with G.O.Ms.No.354 Health and Family Welfare (B2) Department dated 23.10.

2009 is concerned and direct the respondents to allocate 1/20th of total number of vacancies for the post of Associate Professor in the Speciality in the Director of Medical Education side and conduct Promotion/Inter Directorate Counseling within a stipulated time for the Post of Associate Professor for persons working in other directorates. When the matter was taken up for hearing on 04.07.2019, there was no representation for the petitioner. Hence, this Court directed the Registry to post the matter under the caption "for dismissal" today.
