Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.12.2019 and thereby direct the respondents to issue patta in favour of the petitioner in S.No.271/3B1 by including the same in the computer chitta and all other necessary records pursuant to the report dated 08.01.2021 of the third respondent and Village Administrative Officer, 42, Athuvampadi Group, Polur Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District.

ORDER

The petitioner has moved the first respondent with her representation dated 02.12.2019, for making necessary entries in the revenue records, computer chitta etc., and also to issue a patta, for which purpose, necessary enquiry was conducted by the third respondent and the report to that effect was submitted before the second respondent.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents , and makes a statement on instruction that the enquiry for the purpose is scheduled to take place at 11.00 a.m, on 19.05.2021 in the office of the Tahsildar, Polur Taluk/ second respondent herein. The said statement is recorded.

3. In view of the above, no further direction is required to be given except that the Tahsildar, Polur Taluk is directed to hold an enquiry after issuing notices to all the parties who are likely to be affected by his decision, and after providing the parties a fair and effective hearing and to dispose of the said representation through a speaking order within a period of eight

(8) weeks ( after the conclusion of the General Election-2021 of the Tamil Nadu State Legislative Assembly ) from 19.05.2021.
