ORDER

This petition has been filed to punish the respondents for the disobedience of the order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.3780 of 2019 dated 13.02.2019 whereby this Court directed the respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.937 of 2017 and file a final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner already filed contempt petition before this Court in Crl.O.P.No.1836 of 2019, in which, the respondent had indicated before this Court that he would complete the investigation and file a final report within a period of two weeks. Recording the said submission, this Court disposed of the contempt petition by an order dated 23.01.2020. Even then, the respondent did not complete the investigation and filed the final report and as such the petitioner filed the present contempt petition.

3. However, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the respondent filed the final report in Crime No.937 of 2017 and the same has been taken cognizance in CC.No.470 of 2020 on the file of the District Munsif cum 2/3

Judicial Magistrate, Madhavaram, and it is pending for trial.

4. Therefore, recorded the said submission, this Contempt Petition is closed. SD/- ASSISTANT REGISTRAR(COMM.CASES) mpa //Certified to be true copy// Dated at Madras this the day of 2020.
