Mr.R.Sivakumar, learned standing counsel takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
2. The petitioner seeks for disposal of the representations dated 19.06.2017 and 22.09.2017. In the representation dated 19.06.2017, the petitioner seeks for allotment of tenament by the Slum Clearance Board. The said request was rejected by the second respondent on 04.07.2017 and an order was made to that effect which is also made available in the typed set of papers. The other representation dated 22.09.2017 is seeking for furnishing certain informations under the R.T.I. Act. The said representation was also rejected on 05.10.2017 by the third respondent. When such being the position, the petitioner is not justified in seeking the present relief for disposal of those two representations which were in fact already disposed of as stated supra.
If the petitioner is aggrieved against those proceedings, it is for him to challenge the same in a manner known to law. Without doing so, the petitioner is not justified in filing the present writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioner to challenge the above said proceedings in a manner known to law before the appropriate forum. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
