O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to conduct an enquiry by giving an opportunity for the petitioner to submit records relating to the agricultural lands comprised in S.No.180/2 situated at Hanumanthapuram Village, Kariamangalam Taluk, Dharmapuri District and issue patta to the petitioner under the provisions of Revenue Standing Orders in terms of the communication of the 2nd respondent dated 17.01.2017 and the proceedings dated 24.01.2017 by the 1st respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.Mr.R.S.Selvam, learned Government Advocate taking notice for the respondents submitted that the 3rd respondent may be directed to conduct enquiry and pass orders in accordance with law.

3.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 3rd respondent to conduct an enquiry by giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and also for production of the documents relating to his agricultural lands comprised in S.No.180/2 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.

4.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
