The matter is heard through "Video Conference". 2.

This criminal revision is filed to set aside the second condition passed by the learned XIV Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore (Allikulam) Chennai-3 in Crl.M.P.No.3259/2017 dated 22.12.2017.

Based on the complaint given by the petitioner, the FIR has been registered in Crime No.1471/2017 on the file of the respondent police for an offence under Section 406 & 420 of IPC. The allegations made in the complaint is to the effect that the petitioner had handed over 8.5 kgs of gold to the accused persons for making gold jewels and he had misappropriated the same.

Pending further investigation, the defacto complainant filed Crl.M.P.No.3259/2017 before XIV Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore (Allikulam), Chennai for interim custody of the recover https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

of articles under Section 451 of Cr.P.C., and the said petition was allowed on 22.12.2017, subject to certain condition that he should not alter and alienate or encumber the property. As against which the revision petition is filed. 5.

It appears from the records that the defacto complainant also filed Crl.O.P.No.2959/2013 for investigation and to recover the balance of 4.0 k.grams of gold therein, this Court has passed an order directing the respondent to complete the investigation as expeditiously as possible. As I find that the case is of the year 2017, the respondent is required to complete the investigation and file a final report, within a period of 12 weeks. Thereafter, the learned Magistrate is directed to complete the trial, within a period of eight weeks. 6.

With these directions, the criminal revision case is closed.
