O R D E R

The petitioner G.Ashokan, who was subjected to disciplinary proceeding in pursuance of the charge memo dated 30.01.2014, has come to this Court, seeking a direction to the respondent to pass final orders on the basis of the enquiry officer's report bearing No.405/2013/E dated 30.01.2014, within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

2.Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that although the petitioner has submitted his written explanation to the report of the enquiry officer long time back on 21.07.2014, till date the respondent has not come forward to pass final orders on the disciplinary proceedings. 3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

4.Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent sought twelve weeks time to pass final orders on the report of the enquiry officer.

5.In the light of the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, the respondent is directed to consider and pass final orders on the pending disciplinary proceedings, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
