ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed seeking Mandamus to direct the first and third respondents to pay a compensation to the tune of Rs.5,00,000/- to the victim namely, Dhanalakshmi, D/o. C.Marimuthu,

aged about 9 years, resident of Om Shakthi Koil Street, Ambethkar Nagar, Nallur Union Panchayat, Sholavaram, Chennai -52 and further to appoint an Independent Investigation Officer not less than with the designated power equivalent of a Deputy Superintendent of Police belongs to the 7th respondent investigation agency by transferring the case in Crime No. 665 of 2013 under Section 366 and 376 IPC pending on the file of 6th Respondent and to investigate the same by invoking scheduled castes and the scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submits that the main case itself was disposed of.

4. Recording the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), nothing survives for adjudication and this Writ Petition has become infructuous.
