The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to dispose of the complaints dated 04.09.2013 given by the petitioner and 04.09.2013 given by the members, in accordance with the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act, 1975. 2.When the Writ Petition is taken up for hearing, Mr.B.Kannan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent submitted that the Writ Petition is not maintainable for the reason that the petitioner can work out their remedy only before the Competent Civil Court.
3.Mr.D.Baskar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that in the counter filed by the respondent, the respondent has stated that an enquiry was conducted as early as in February 2013 and a report was also despatched on 18.09.2013. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Since the respondent has stated that he has already conducted an enquiry and despatched the report on 18.09.2013, he could have disposed of the petitioner's representation dated 04.09.2013 and informed the petitioner with regard to the despatch of the report.
4.Mr.B.Kannan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent submitted that the respondent would inform the petitioner with regard to the enquiry conducted and also the report despatched on 18.09.2013 based on the representation dated 04.09.2013.
5.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent, I direct the respondent to pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 04.09.2013 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
