(Order of the Court was made by T.SIVAGNANAM.,J.) When the matter is heard today, once again an adjournment is sought for on the ground that the counsel on record is not available.

2.From the order sheet, it is seen that the case has been adjourned from time to time at the request of the learned counsel for the petitioner. In fact, on the first hearing date i.e. on 20.04.2015, the learned counsel for the petitioner fairly stated that as per his information, a Petition has already been listed before the Hon'ble Supreme Court and he would obtain instructions whether to pursue the litigation or seek for transfer of the present Petition, in view of the fact that the matter is pending before the Hon'ble Supreme Court. Thereafter, the petitioner has changed his counsel and repeated adjournments were sought for.

3.In the light of the above, this Court is not inclined to keep the matter pending any further. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. However, dismissal of this Writ Petition will not prevent the petitioner from pursuing other remedies, if he is so advised. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
