O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records and quash the complaint registered in Crime. No.478 of 2017 on the file of the 1st respondent viz., Inspector of Police, G1 Police Station, Vepery.

2. When the matter came up for hearing today, the de facto complainant is personally present before this Court and she is identified by the Investigating Officer.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned counsel for the second respondent and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the first respondent.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that pending investigation in Crime No.478 of 2017 on the file of the first respondent police, de facto complainant and the petitioner https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

have amicably settled the issue among themselves and to this effect, the de facto complainant has filed an affidavit dated 10.10.2017, stating that she has no objection if the proceedings in Crime No.478 of 2017 on the file of the first respondent police are quashed.

5. Recording the submissions made by the de facto complainant in her affidavit dated 10.10.2017, the proceedings in Crime No.478 of 2017 on the file of the first respondent police is quashed. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petitions stands allowed.
