ORDER
The case has been heard through video conference The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 323, 324, 307 & 506(ii) of I.P.C r/w Section 3 of TNPPDL Act, in Crime No.615 of 2020, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.
2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused persons had abused and attacked the defacato complainant with weapons and caused injuries and also damaged the two wheeler. Hence, the complaint.
3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he is no way connected with the alleged offence and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He
would further submit that co-accused had already been arrested and thereafter they were released on bail by the Principal Sessions Judge, Vellore in E-Bail No.2683 of 2020 dated 14.08.2020. Hence, he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the petitioner along with other accused persons had abused and attacked the defacato complainant with weapons and also damaged the two wheeler. He would further submit that there are 14 previous cases pending as against the petitioner. He would further submit that on the date of occurrence, all the accused persons had waylaid the defacto complainant and attacked him and also damaged the two wheeler. He would further submit that the petitioner is a history sheeter. Hence he vehemently opposed to grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
5. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that there are 14 previous cases pending as against the petitioner, and he is a history sheeter, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
