Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying for issuance of writ of Mandamus, forbearing the respondents and their men from in any manner bringing the petitioner's property viz., jewel covered in Loan A/c.No.569919834 availed on 06.02.2007 for public auction sale and consequently direct the respondents to extend the benefits of the Agriculture Debt Relief Scheme, 2008 announced by the Government of India to return the petitioner's pledged jewel to the petitioner within time fixed by this Court. The petitioner has come up with this Writ Petition forbearing the respondents from bringing the petitioner's jewel covered in Loan that was availed on 06.02.2007 for public auction sale and consequently direct the respondents to extend the benefits of the Agriculture Debt Relief Scheme, 2008 announced by the Government of India to return the petitioner's pledged jewel to the petitioner within time fixed by this Court.
2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submitted that the loan account has already been settled and the jewels were redeemed, and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition.
3. In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs.
