Respondents in Writ Petition Contempt petition filed under section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, to punish the respondent herein for his willful disobedience and contempt of this Court order dated 16.12.2015 made in MP.No.1/2013 in WP.No.34014/2013. Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of certiorari calling for the records of the 1st respondent culminating in the order dated 30.11.2013 made in Na.Ka.No.2689/2013/A3 and to quash the same.

Mr.J.Purushothaman, GA COMMON ORDER The petitioner, alleging violation of the interim order dated 19.02.2014 made in WMP.No.1/2013 in WP.No.34014/2013, came forward to file the present petition for contempt.
The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner, who was elected as the Councilor from Ward No.8, became the Vice President of Narseepuram Village and vide impugned order dated
30.11.2013, passed by the respondent, the cheque signing power has been taken away from the petitioner and was given to the 6th respondent in the writ petition and though it has been stayed by this Court, it has not been complied with and would further add that in the light of the subsequent development of the expiry of the tenure of the elected Local Body representatives, nothing survives for adjudication even in the writ petition and prays for disposal of the same. Accordingly, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
In the light of the development, viz., the expiry of the term of the elected Local Body members, this Court is of the considered view that nothing remains for adjudication in the writ petition and therefore, it is closed.
No costs.
Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is also closed. The contempt petition is also closed.
