Wp.4308 of 18: Petition filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the entire records pertaining to the order passed by the 8th respondent in his proceedings f/vz;/c/kP/bgh/,&g/nrhk/nfhtpt No. 156/2017 dated 07.11.2017 and quash the same and directed the authorities concerned to restore the electricity connection to the petitioner so as to enable him to carryout cultivating works over the schedule mentioned property. J U D G M E N T

(Judgment of the Court was delivered by N.KIRUBAKARAN, J) The Appeal has been filed against the order passed in W.P.No.4308 of 2018 dated 07.12.2018.

2.It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the TANGEDCO that as per the earlier order passed by this Court on 16.10.2019, the free electricity connection has been restored to the appellant. The appellant who is appearing as party in person has also confirmed the same. 3.With regard to the change of name in respect of the electricity connection, the appellant is directed to give a representation with details of the property. On such application, the respondent shall change the name of the consumer in respect of the electricity connection, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With the above direction, the Writ Appeal is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions is closed.
