This petition has been filed seeking modification of one of the conditions imposed on the petitioner by the learned Metropolitan Magistrate for exclusive trial of CCB/CBCID Metro Cases, Egmore, while allowing the bail petition in Crl.MP.No.626 of 2023 dated 21.01.2025.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the Court below while enlarging the petitioner on bail on 21.01.2025 in Crl.MP.No.626 of 2025 had imposed certain conditions, one such conditions was that the petitioner/accused should appear before the respondent police daily twice at 10.00 a.m., and 05.00p.m. He further submits the petitioner was in judicial custody from 18.11.2024. Hence, he seeks for modification of the above said condition.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police reiterated and on instructions submitted that the petitioner has been regularly complying with the conditions imposed by this Court.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police.

5. Taking into consideration the facts and the submissions made by both counsel and also considering the period of incarceration undergone by the petitioner, the condition imposed as against the petitioner/accused is modified to the effect that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m., for a period of two weeks and thereafter, he shall appear before the learned Metropolitan Magistrate 2/4

for exclusive trial of CCB Cases (relating to cheating cases in Chennai) and CBCID Metro Cases, Chennai every day at 10.30 a.m., until further orders. All other conditions remain unaltered.

6. With the above modification, this Criminal Original Petition is ordered.
