Respondents Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying this Court to issue a writ of certiorarified Mandamus, calling for records relating to 1st respondents University Order No.558/2013(C) dated 27.6.2013 to quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to continue the petitioner till the end of the academic year i.e. June 2014 by following the statutory provisions of the Annamalai University Act made in Rules under Chapter XVII Para 8(ii). ORDER

When the matter was taken up today, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the matter relates to revocation order issued against the petitioner in the year 2013 and after filing the writ petition, the petitioner was reinstated in service and, hence the prayer made in the writ petition has become infructuous. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.In such view of the matter, the relief having already been granted to the petitioner, nothing survives for adjudication. Accordingly the writ petition stands dismissed as infructuous. Consequently connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
